SkinCeuticals CryoCorrect Treatment

Many people are concerned with dark spots on their skin, especially on their hands and face. At Gallaher Plastic Surgery & Spa MD, we offer a CryoCorrect treatment to get rid of these spots, serving residents of Loudon, Powell, and Knoxville, TN.

What is the CryoCorrect Treatment?

The CryoCorrect treatment is a non-invasive, in-office treatment that is used to freeze away dark spots and skin tags. The CryoCorrect Precision Pen delivers a flow of carbon dioxide directly to the targeted dark spot or skin tag, freezing the lesion while leaving the surrounding skin intact. This treatment is safe to be used on all areas of the body, including the face and neck.

How Much Does a CryoCorrect Treatment Cost?

The cost of the CryoCorrect treatment is generally affordable, but can vary based on the size and location of the dark spot or skin tag being treated. If cost is a concern, you can come in for a free consultation to get the exact cost before making your decision about treatment. If you are working within a budget we can treat only the spots that concern you the most and treat the remainder of the spots as you are able. Financing is also available.

What is the CryoCorrect Treatment Like?

During a CryoCorrect Treatment, the dark spot or skin tag is quickly frozen. Each spot takes approximately 5-8 seconds to treat. You will immediately see the skin turn a dark color. The treatment has little to no downtime and minimal discomfort.

What is Recovery Like Following the CryoCorrect Treatment?

This dark color may last between 3-5 days before a scab forms. The scab will slough off on its own within a few weeks, and normal healthy skin will appear. In some cases, the healing process can vary between 4-12 weeks. Be sure not to pick the scab off, as this will prevent the treatment from getting you optimal results.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect from a CryoCorrect?

Visible improvement can be seen in as early as 4 weeks, with healthy skin appearing between 4-12 weeks. Studies showed significant improvement among dark spots, with 66% of subjects showing complete removal of dark spots by week 6. Some spots may require additional treatments, but most people achieve their desired results in just one treatment.
